Consultation Groups

All consultation groups meet monthly over Zoom and periodically accept new members.  To join an existing group or if you are interested in starting a new group, please contact our Consultation Group coordinator, Alexis Petrakis, PsyD.  

Psychologists receive Continuing Professional Development Hours for attending consultation groups (18 hours maximum per each renewal period).  Groups are open to RPA members only. 



The groups listed below are looking for new members in order to launch. Please email for more information on how to join.  

  • Balint Consultation Group for psychologists to discuss challenging patient cases, focusing on the emotional and psychological dynamics of the clinician-patient relationship 
  • Business of Doing Therapy
  • Mindfulness 

Child, Adolescent, and Family Consultation Group

Monthly Zoom Consultation Group for psychologists working with children, adolescents, and families. 

When: 11:00-12:00 PM on the third Monday of each month

Ethics Consultation Group

Monthly Zoom Consultation Group to discuss the ethics of psychological practice.  This group is available for drop-in attendance.  Please register for the event in order to receive the link to the Zoom meeting. 

When: 11:00-12:00 PM on the first Thursday of each month

Trauma Consultation Group
