Introduction
I've been in practice as a psychiatrist for more than 25 years, and feel very fortunate that my work is a calling. Skilled both in psychotherapy and medication management, it is important to me to work collaboratively with patients and their therapists. As a psychotherapist, my work draws on extensive training in AEDP, EMDR, and other modalities. As a prescriber of medication my knowledge base is broad and vigorously maintained. I completed my residency at Harvard Medical School in 1994, and was on faculty at UCSF until 1998. I've taught at UCSF, San Jose State University and Meridian University. I have offices in Sonoma County and in San Francisco.
